Why Choose Us

Reason one to choose us is we are a Belgard authorized contractor. To become a certified Belgard contractor is not an easy task; there are several steps that must be completed. The first requirement is to be recommended by a Belgard Authorized Dealer or Sales Rep. Other requirements include having a icpi (Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute) certified staff member and a NCMA/SRW (National Concrete Masonry Association/Segmented Retaining Wall) certified staff member. We must also satisfy all installation requirements which requires a inspection of one of our projects. Provide proof of insurance for our business and lastly users of Techniseal product must complete the Certified Applicator course.  As you can see, becoming a Belgard certified contractor is hard work, it requires skill, experience, and a satisfaction guarantee. Currently, there are only about 22 landscaping companies in Iowa to be certified belgard contractors.

Reason two is our years of experience! Like previously stated in the last paragraph, we are icpi and NCMA certified to install pavers and walls for any kind of application! To be icpi certified is no joke here are the requirements

  1. Attend an ICPI Concrete Paver Installer course.
  2. Earn a passing score of 75% or higher on the exam
  3. Complete and submit an Application for Certification (documenting required installation experience of at least 5 projects and 10,000 sq. ft.)

After attending and passing the course, a Record of Completion is issued. Once issued, certification is valid for two-years. During each two year term, ICPI Certified Installers must earn 8 continuing education hours in order to renew certification.

Being a certified NCMA SRW Installer takes similar steps.

  1. Attend an NCMA Segmented Retaining Wall course.
  2. Must pass a written examination.
  3.  Submit 2,500 sq. ft of installation experience

Reason three is that we are family owned and operated business. You choosing us will directly impacts our lives, and so we put so much of ourselves back into the business! From meetings and planning your project, to laying the block in your yard, taking pictures and posting about the project, and even creating this website! We are incredibly invested in making sure your job gets done professionally just the way you want it. We love our customers and we make sure they get taken care of, EVERY project!
